Every Brilliant Thing

Add You’re six years old. Mom’s in the hospital. Dad says she’s “done something stupid.” She finds it hard to be happy, so you start a list of everything that’s brilliant about the world. Everything worth living for: 1. Ice Cream. 2. Kung Fu movies. 3. Burning things. 4. Laughing so hard you shoot milk out your nose. 5. Me. You leave it on her pillow. You know she’s read it because she’s corrected your spelling. Soon, the list takes on a life of its own, highlighting the irrepressible resilience of the human spirit in finding delight in the everyday.

It is an honor to perform this important piece of theater at The Millbrook Playhouse this August. Come and celebrate life with us in the Poorman Cabaret, and get your tickets here

Stellaluna and Other Tales

Stellaluna the bat, Verdi the snake, and Pinduli the hyena all seek refreshment at a watering hole one hot day, only to find themselves the subjects of a bullying lion’s ridicule. But by sharing stories about building self-confidence, these three misfit animals find wisdom, peace, and friendship. Based on the popular books by Janell Cannon, this delightful musical is a treat for both children and adults. I am delighted to direct, choreograph this production for The Ocean City Theatre Company. Come visit Stellaluna, Verdi and their friends at the Ocean City Music Pier by getting your tickets here
